Medical instructions
The donor must be in good health and not suffering from any infectious diseases.
The hemoglobin level for men should be 14-17 g, and for women it should be 12-14 g.
Blood pressure should be in the normal range of 120/80 mm Hg.
The pulse should be between 50-100 per minute.
The temperature should not exceed 37 degrees Celsius.
An adult in good health can donate about (450-500 ml) of his blood without any fears or risks to his health, and he can donate every two months so that the number of times he donates does not exceed 5 times a year.
Fasting before donating: It is preferable for donors to fast for a certain period before donating blood, in order to ensure the best quality of the donated blood.
After donating, you take a break and have a snack, and after 10-15 minutes you can leave the donation site Avoid strenuous physical activity or heavy lifting for 5 hours after donation.
